Executive presence, in 90 minutes.
You will finish with six behaviours to change, a way to measure each one, and a routine to use before an important conversation. Built for senior people whose work is strong and whose delivery has not caught up.
You made the point. The room moved on. Eleven minutes later someone else made the same point in different words, and this time the chair wrote it down.
The analysis was right. The recommendation was right. Neither was the problem. It did not sound like a position, so the room did not treat it as one.
There are two parts to this. What you do when you speak, and what you decide before you speak. The second one controls the first.
Most training in this field teaches you to perform. Speak louder, use bigger gestures, copy someone else's style. This program does the opposite. It works on the voice you already have, so you sound the same in a difficult meeting as you do in an easy one.
The behaviours that shape how people see you were learned. That means they can be changed. The program shows you which ones you use, and what to do about each.
Communication is one part of leadership. It is also the part that affects everything else. That is why this program covers one subject in full rather than ten in outline.
How you stand, how you use your voice, and which words you choose. Almost all of it is habit, so all of it can be changed.
When people trust how you will handle a conversation, they tell you about problems early instead of late.
People decide how seriously to take you in the first few minutes. Get that right and you do not spend the rest of the meeting catching up.
A clear recommendation gets a decision. A hedged one gets put off to the next meeting.
Promotions are decided on what senior people remember about you. That is usually five or six moments where you either sounded ready for the next role or you did not.
None of this is a soft skill. It shows up in what gets approved, what gets funded, who gets the role, and how long a decision takes.
One module. Under 90 minutes. Six behaviours you can use the same week.
How to tell when a room has stopped following you, and how to change course while you are still speaking. The same method works for one person or a hundred.
People can hear how sure you are of yourself. You settle your position, and what you want from the conversation, before you walk in.
People form a view of you before you say anything. This is what they are responding to, and how to take charge of it.
How fast you speak, how high your voice sits, and where you pause. Settle yourself first and the voice follows on its own.
How to state a recommendation so it reads as a recommendation. Exact wording you can use in your next meeting.
A short routine to use before an important conversation, so you arrive ready whatever kind of morning you have had.
You sound different in your own head than you do to a room. The quickest way past that is to watch yourself back.
Record two minutes. Score it against five things you can count. Every item is a number, so there is nothing to interpret and nothing to argue with. Most people change one or two things the same day.
The first thing this program does is show you where you are. You can do that part today, free, without me.
Record two minutes on something that matters to you. A position you are about to argue, an update you owe the board. Then score it against six things. All six are numbers, so it takes about twenty minutes.
Most people find three to five habits they did not know they had. You cannot change a habit you have never heard.
If what you find bothers you, the program is the fix.
Under 90 minutes, at your own pace. One sitting or spread across a week. Access is permanent and includes any updates.
Use something real that is coming up. The closer it is to your day job, the more useful the result.
Score the recording against the five-point list. Most of what you find has been there for years, and one sitting is usually enough to change it.
Run it again whenever you want. Record yourself a month later and compare the numbers, or use it to prepare before any conversation that matters.
From October 2026 the program is A$140, or A$240 with a personal review. Until then, 25 founding places are open at A$49 with the review included.
Review places are limited each month, because I write every assessment myself. If they are full, you can start the program straight away and add a review as soon as one opens.
This program is built for you if:
Early in my career I sat in meeting rooms with the right analysis and watched it go nowhere. The work was not the problem. I could not hear what I was doing while I was doing it.
So I worked it out, and then I used it. More than fifteen years across startups, non-profits and large corporates, including Qantas, Macquarie Bank and CA ANZ, is where I built this method and where it was tested.
Toastmasters International since 2021, through Club President and Level 3 of Presentation Mastery. That is a polite way of saying several hundred hours of being recorded and told the truth.
This program is the short version. It is what I would hand to myself, ten years ago, walking into that meeting.
See all services →October 2026. Until then the founding cohort is open at A$49, including the complete program and a personal review. Founding members get access ahead of general release and hear the date first.
Under 90 minutes for the module, and about 20 for the self-review. The review is where the change happens, so leave time for it.
It applies first to everyday situations. Executive meetings, one-to-ones, client conversations, a position you need a board to accept. Formal presentations run on the same foundations, so both improve together.
Yes. Confidence is not a personality type you either have or do not have. It is a set of behaviours you can see and count, and those can be learned. The program starts from how you already speak rather than working against it.
You send a two-minute recording. I score it against the same framework you used and write back on what is already working, and the one or two changes that will make the biggest difference. Returned within five business days.
Permanently, including any future updates. It is built to be used again before an important conversation.
Most presentation training works on the presentation. This works on you, on the days when there is no presentation. The update, the one-to-one, the meeting where you have ninety seconds and no slides. It also starts from what you do now rather than a model of what good looks like, which is why the first thing you do is record yourself.
No, and I would tell you if I thought otherwise, because it is personal for me. Accent is not what decides whether a room takes a recommendation seriously. How fast you speak, where you pause, whether your voice rises at the end of a sentence, and whether you soften the point are. Every one of them can be learned in any accent.
Toastmasters gave me the practice hours and I recommend it to anyone. What it does not give you is a starting point. This program is built for people who do not have four years of weekly meetings spare and want to know what to change on Monday.
Sound Like You gives you the method. Applying it to your role and your organisation is coaching work, and a single session is the lightest way to start. If there is a conversation already in your calendar, a single coaching session does that directly.
One module. One recording. A clear picture of what you do now, and six things to change. Founding places are A$49 until 30 September.
